With a classical background, Philipp´s music has always had a modern edge. Its principal basis being structured on a classical tendency, he started as a violin player, modern music found him after a broken wrist took him away of his beloved music. With a guitar on his arms he finally found the way to express himself using all his classical training to create a new and innovative way to play the best of both worlds.

Philipp K. Scheer founded Sibelius, a Venezuelan Project in 2004. His main vision is grouping a diversity of musicians to participate in its formation by the interaction of diverse techniques and styles, thereby obtaining paramount musical results. The primary objective of getting musicians together from all over the world has been maintained since the beginning. From recordings, to compositions, including live performances.

The innovative style of Sibelius is to combine the classical with the modern and not modern with classical, therefore becoming one of the first agrupations to perform this special technique. Thanks to this combination, the audience may therefore appreciate a totally unique musical style.
